The research: If you set yourself the goal of introducing a product from abroad, in our case China, to Germany, you first have to find out what kind of product it should be. To do this, you need to take a closer look at the Chinese market. There are masses of products in a wide variety of segments. We asked ourselves the question: What are we looking for and in which segment?
To find out, we launched a market analysis. What is a market analysis anyway? A market analysis provides you with information about industries, customers, competitors and other market parameters. You can also determine the relationship between supply and demand for a specific product or service.
As soon as all this has been clarified, you can take the next steps. It is important to clarify the legal framework beforehand. There are different regulations and requirements that a product must meet in each area. There are different requirements for cosmetics than for toys or smartphones. Various certificates must be organized and presented.
