How long does the freight take from China to Germany?
The duration of the freight depends heavily on the choice of means of transportation. You can choose between sea freight, air freight and rail transportation. The duration also depends on your location and that of the producer in China, because with sea freight, for example, the goods must first be transported to the coast to one of the major ports and then from the port to your location.
Sea freight - approximately 30 days plus the journey from the producer to the port in China and the journey from the European port to your location
Air freight - the flight from China to Germany takes approximately one day plus the journey to the nearest airport in Germany and in China
Rail transport - rail transportation from China to Germany usually takes around 15 days
You can find the advantages and disadvantages of the individual transportation options in our blog article Sea freight, air freight & rail transport.
How long does it take for you to find a supplier for us?

You can find detailed descriptions of what information you need from us in our blog post Preparations for product sourcing.
Next, we carry out a product search together with our local staff in China and look for a suitable manufacturer for you. Once we have found a suitable manufacturer for your product, you will receive a quote. We will present you with various options for transporting the goods from China to Germany.
You then place the order with us. We then take care of the production and the transportation you require. What does a CE mark mean?
The CE mark is affixed by manufacturers to their products and means that the product has undergone a risk assessment and complies with EU safety, health and environmental requirements. However, the CE mark is not a quality mark and does not mean that the product is of high quality or that it was manufactured in Europe.
Who can check CE marks?
The CE marking is a conformity mark that is affixed by the manufacturers themselves. There is no specific organization or authority that checks or awards the CE mark.
Manufacturers must, however, carry out a conformity assessment before affixing the CE mark to their products. This assessment is carried out either by the manufacturer itself or by an independent testing body. The
conformity assessment can include various steps, such as checking the technical documentation, carrying out tests and monitoring production. The purpose of this assessment is to ensure that the product complies with the applicable EU directives.
There are also certain products for which a Notified Body, which are independent testing and certification bodies, must be commissioned to assess the conformity of the product and carry out the necessary conformity assessment procedures.
What is RoHS compliance?
RoHS stands for "Restriction of Hazardous Substances" and refers to the EU Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The RoHS Directive applies to products sold in the European Union and sets limits for six hazardous substances that must not be contained in electrical and electronic equipment. These substances are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
RoHS conformity means that a product, e.g. an electrical or electronic appliance, meets the requirements of the RoHS Directive and does not contain any of the six hazardous substances in concentrations above the limit values. Manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment must ensure that their products are RoHS compliant before they are sold in the EU.
RoHS Certificates of Conformity can be issued by independent testing and certification bodies that verify and confirm the product's compliance with the RoHS Directive. RoHS compliance is important to protect the health of consumers and the environment and to ensure that products can be sold in the EU.
What does REACH conformity mean?
The REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is an EU regulation that governs the use of chemicals in the European Union. The REACH regulation applies to all companies that manufacture, import or use chemicals, including those contained in products such as electrical appliances, clothing and furniture.
REACH compliance means that a product meets the requirements of REACH and that all chemicals contained in the product are registered and authorized. Manufacturers must ensure that all chemicals in their products have been registered and meet the requirements of REACH before they are sold in the EU.
The REACH regulation includes various requirements for companies, such as the registration of chemicals, the assessment of their risks to health and the environment, the authorization of particularly hazardous substances and the restriction or prohibition of chemicals in certain products. REACH conformity indicates that a product meets the requirements of the regulation and is safe for consumers and the environment.
REACH Certificates of Conformity can be issued by independent testing and certification bodies that verify and confirm the product's compliance with the REACH Regulation. REACH compliance is important to protect the health and safety of consumers and the environment.
What is a declaration of conformity?
A declaration of conformity is a written statement by a manufacturer that its product complies with the applicable legal requirements, e.g. the requirements of EU directives, regulations or national laws. A declaration of conformity is often required as part of the CE marking procedure if a product is to be sold in the European Union.
In the declaration of conformity, the manufacturer confirms that his product fulfills all relevant requirements, such as safety requirements, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental requirements or health and hygiene requirements. The declaration of conformity may also contain information on the conformity assessment procedures, test reports and certifications applied.
A declaration of conformity must be signed by an authorized person who assumes responsibility for the conformity of the product with the requirements. This person can be the manufacturer himself or an authorized representative. The declaration of conformity is usually kept as part of the product's technical documentation and must be made available to the competent authorities on request.
The declaration of conformity is an important instrument to ensure that products comply with the applicable legal requirements and are safe for consumers and the environment.
